Tickets
People ask for help, staff pick it up, and a transcript is kept.
Module: tickets (on unless switched off)
Opening one
Press the button on the ticket panel. A private channel opens with you and the staff who handle that type.
Or, staff can open one for somebody: /ticket open.
For staff
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/ticket add | Bring someone into this ticket |
/ticket remove | Take someone out |
/ticket coclaim | Add a second handler (max 2) |
/ticket note | A staff note, saved in the transcript |
/ticket rename | Rename the channel |
/ticket transcript | Generate the transcript now |
/ticket perms | Change who can see it |
/ticket list | Every ticket in the server |
Claim a ticket with the button on it. Claiming is what tells everyone else it's being handled.
Panels
/ticket panel post post a panel here
/ticket panel save post it and remember it as a preset
/ticket panel load post a saved one again
/ticket panel list
/ticket panel delete
Presets are worth using — when a panel gets deleted, load puts it straight
back instead of you rebuilding it.
Admin setup
/ticketadmin covers ticket types, the questions each one asks, and which role
handles it.
It's not working
When you are stuck
The panel button does nothing
The panel is older than the last time ticket types changed. Repost it with /ticket panel load.
"You can't claim this."
You're not in the handler role for that ticket type.
The ticket channel didn't open
Usually the bot can't create channels in that category. Check its permissions there.
The transcript is empty
Transcripts capture messages the bot could see. If it was added to the channel late, it only has from then on.
